Broccoli Bake

Broccoli is a very beautiful vegetable that is also high in protein and compatible with the Slow Carb Diet. This simple baked dish brings out broccoli’s flavour and is very easy and simple to prepare.

Ingredients
(Vegetarian, Vegan, Four Hour Body, Slow Carb Diet, Gluten Free)

Protein in one 250ml cup: ~ 5g

1 medium-sized head of broccoli
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 small onion
5 cloves of garlic
¼ teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Broccoli: Wash the broccoli and cut into small pieces about 2cm long.
  2. Onion: Slice the onion.
  3. Garlic: Dice the garlic.

Baking
  1. Broccoli, onions, garlic, oil & salt: Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Spread as a single layer on a large baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes at 180C.

Variation: Use soy sauce instead of salt. I personally think salt alone is the best for this dish, compared to soy sauce.
